Erin McConocha [she/they] joined the lab in 2020. They received their bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry with a minor in Italian from Middlebury College and their master’s in public health in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the Yale School of Public Health. She has worked for various community health and advocacy agencies with an emphasis on housing justice and the implementation of queer- and trans-affirmative social and mental health services. Their research interests focus on studying the impact of structural factors, policies, and place on sexual and gender minority health inequities, as well as the development and implementation of interventions to address these inequities.
